Amber supports young people experiencing homelessness, providing them with a temporary home and the space and support that they need to transform their lives. The young people that Amber work with can be grappling with incredibly complex issues, but their goal is simple: to help young people move on from Amber into employment or training and a home of their own.
They provide a temporary, safe place to live with over 100 other young people at one of their 4 centres in Kent, Surrey, Wiltshire and Devon. There – in a calm and nurturing environment – they provide a mix of support, structure, new experiences and training that builds young people’s motivation, self-discipline and skills.
BrightSide is supporting the delivery of Amber’s programme of support, helping young people move away from homelessness, so that they can lead bright, positive and fulfilling lives.
